I could go bigger or smaller, but if I had to pic just one each folder and fixed blade, that I could handle any task with, that is what I would pick.

But I sure would miss my CUDA MAXX, and my OVB Bowie, and my scout knife, and my BK9, and my......

I own a really really really tough Dawson.
Otherwise, I'd like a Tom Johanning that I don't own yet.
(fixed)

Folder.....
If I really needed it, I'd get a STRIDER Folder.
Are the STRIDER folders really the toughest???
Anyone????
(that's what I meant to say)
Otherwise, I'd have go with the LCC Microtech, that's a whole lotta knife.

That's hard to say, as they do not exist.

The fixed blade would have to be Doris. :)

The folder would be a SAK Huntsman, if that counts. If not, I'll take a Spyderco Miltary.

I have to second this on the Recon Scout. I have no really tough folders, but I imagine I might go with a Greco (since I don't have three to four hundred dollars to spend).

Even if you did have a three to four hundred dollars to spend I'd still recommend the Greco.
