Although I really like my PM2s...and my Gayle Bradley...if I could only keep one of my Spyderco knives it would definitely be my Rubicon. I LOVE that knife. I might choose my Rubicon over all of my Benchmades as well...maybe.
pm2 s35vn was my favorite spyderco, but i did end up selling it off... the much less pretty and much cheaper pacific salt remains in my collection- so as much as id like to say pm2, reality says pac salt serrated
For me this is an easy question. I only have one folder at the moment and it is the Spyderco Manix 2 CruWear I got in the mail today! I've only had a few different Spydercos but the Manix 2 is my favorite. Its solid, tough, light, carries well, and looks gorgeous.
Ti Fluted Millie (about to get customized), any of my M4 Styled Millie's (1/2 Ti + 1/2 G10 or Micarta, and if traveling requires under 3.5" blade (Seattle) a customized PM2 or a cut-down Millie. These two models (Millie & Para) are generally included in my EDC.
In one question lies my answer. Name any/all knife models that have been in continuous production for 20 or more years? Hint, I named it above ;-)
For me it would have to be the Southard. Excellent steel, perfect ergonomics, very lightweight and it carries very easily. It has a ton of blade length for its size, and is plenty strong enough for 97% of all of the cutting chores that I do. The other 3% are covered by my BK7.
My favorite is the Native 5 in S35VN currently. Been eyeing up a Kiwi and can't make my mind up whether I would carry it. I have considered many of the favorites listed in this thread, but there are so many great knives available these days.
All of you folks that buy 'em, handle 'em, and then sell 'em makes little sense to me. Priorites change and sometimes what you liked a year ago might well be your favorite again. In my case that would be the Delica.
Military would be my first choice followed closely by the PM2. If the Tatanka was legal to carry where I live it would be my first choice. Hopefully in the near future Missouri will follow Kansas and numerous other states and remove the restrictions on large bladed knives and autos.
I only have two, but the Delica gets a whole lot more use than the PM2. I think they compliment each other nicely, however, I'd keep the Delica if I had to choose. Probably.
Not my absolute favorite carry knife (a little too big to always be politically correct or appropriate), but if I had to choose only one the M4 Military would be a distinct possibility:
