If you could own any knife (or other edged weapon) in existence what would it be?

Leon Kennedy's or Jack Krauser's knife from Resident Evil 4. Those were some insanely sweet blades and damned if those guys didn't know how to use them.

As an aside, does anyone know what those knives would be comparable to in the not-videogame world?

Busse Flying Nuclear MOASH
Busse SFNO.
Busse AK47
Airkat TorkNVTR / Moni Tor.
Daniel Koster WSK and Karda.

I would take any one of these.

Doesn't exist in real life:
Double-bladed lightsaber. Heck, as long as it doesn't exist, I might as well stick in mokume or carbon fiber inlays. In any case, it would be tricked out. :D

Exists in real life:
Wolfgang Loerchner integral sword.

A Kevin Wilkins Ghost Dog Pup, framelock, half titanium, and the other half G-11.

That is imposiible for me to answer, as there areso many amazing makers that I do not own yet. I just can not pin down one knife!!

So ... does that mean that out of all the bladed object you could possibly have, you would get a Ghost Dog pup? Or have you changed your mind?

All of those would be considered chump change IF you get a hold of the spear of destiny.
Either that or Michael the Archangel's flaming sword!

Tyrael's sword for me but the spear of destiny would be great too.

For a folder, I'd have to pick the BM806, even though I've never held or seen one in person. I'll give myself a headache trying to think of other things like swords and stuff. :)

I have one and love it but it is a bit small. I thought it would have the feel of a griptilian like my 552 but its more of a light gentlemans knife. I usually carry that or my cricket when I'm forced into a suit. It is very light and the D2 will take a very sharp edge for a long time. Ive had it since Jan of this year and only sharpened it once, even after breaking down about 50 toner boxes.

I believe the consensus on Krauser's knife is that it is a fantasy combination of a Mercworx Equatorian and a MOD CQD MK V. If I ever get into making knives, I'd like to replicate this design too.:) Leon's looks like a Next Generation Kabar to me.

I thought Krausers Knife looked a lot like a mercworx. I think both of those designs are awesome, and id love to see someone making them.

Heeeeeeey, nice call on the Mercworx.

Looking at them, I'd probably lean towards the Sniper model for Krauser...his knife seemed a bit faster and slimmer than the Equatorian. But that's just how I sees it.

Anyone have one of these things? A bit pricey for me, but I'd totally be willing to live vicariously through your experiences.

I'd want a Hattori Hanzo (not sure of the spelling) sword from Kill Bill.

Don't be silly, only a fool wouldn't request something not hand forged as all blades should be, the most incredible knife I've seen but way out of my price range is the demon child, or saint of heaven I'm not sure which of this guy named Shiva Ki, the things are said to be damn near supernatural. Personally I'd request a large hand and a half sword something in the oakeshott xviii maybe hollow ground, with the edges smoothed.

i would like a harkins triton with handle made out of talonite and platinum, 3v TiN gold blade.. that would be killer :D

Ill take a custom blade shaped like a ontario TAK but A2 and full height convex with the spine sharp enough for a fire steel and green canvas micarta. Oh Achillies sword, and the Sword of Michael the Arcangle and a REAL samauri sword

Well said. That flaming sword carries the wrath of G-d and the enemies of the Holy One have nary a chance to defeat it! :)

The Vorpal Sword, of course.

Excerpted from Jabberwocky
by Lewis Carroll

He took his Vorpal Sword in hand.
Long time the Manxome Foe he sought

So rested he by the tumtum tree
And stood awhile in thought

And while in uffish thought he stood
The Jabberwock with eyes aflame came whiffling through the tulgy wood
And burbled as he came

One-two one-two and through and through the Vorpal Blade went snickersnack

He left it dead
And with its head
He went galumphing back.

Busse Battle Mistress LE. Ordered one a few weeks ago and expect it to be the best Battle Mistress ever at Busse Combat.

I already have it. A Busse NO-E. Since I got it several years ago I have not considered getting another heavy duty knife.
