I'll chime in.
First, I'd love to see discontinued pricing levels on ALL beckers (as long as it didn't mean they all went away).
If I were in charge...
I'd scrap the 13, 11, 2, and maybe the 3 and 7.
The 13 is just too small. Same thing with the 11, the handle is just too small for me to comfortably use. That, and IMO the 14/24 cover the same size range just fine (and I have no use for the bottle opener personally).
The BK2 is how I found this place, but after using it a good amount, I've found that for my use, I have no need of anything thicker than 3/16in on my medium sized knives. In fact, my BK9 has never felt "too thin" for me. A 3/16in thick BK2 might have me interested (or, conversely, a BK10 with a drop point), but then again the BK12 already comes close, so maybe thats not needed.
The 3 is fine for what its for. If I had the need for one, I'd have one. But, I don't actually need it, so I'd drop it (unless for some reason it sells super well, then I'd use the profits from that to make other fun blades
).
The 7 is great as the kabar 1217 USMC replacement, so I'm sure it sells pretty good. I just have no use for it. But again, if it makes money so we can get BK21's, I'm ok with that.
Oh, and I haven't used a 5 yet, but I hear they're worth keeping around. I have used my 15 some, and it works fine (I'm not in love with it yet though, so the jury is still out on that one).
