If you found $200.....

I had this happen yesterday. I found some money. I was going thru some clothes I hadn't worn since summer and putting them in a new place and found $500 in a pocket of some cargo shorts. So I decided that $200 would become a new knife and $300 would pay off the Sig Sauer I had on layaway at my LGS.

I am new to collecting but like folding knives. My fav brands so far are ZT, Kizer and Lionsteel. I am always looking at other brands of course. I have like several offerings from Viper and Spyderco also.

So if you had $200 and could buy 1 knife with it, what would it be? Trying to get some ideas so I can place my order and make sure I didn't overlook some great knives

I'd buy a half a dozen Victorinox pioneers and give them out people I know so they can experience a really useful pocket knife.
 
I know nothing about that knife. Going to look it up. Thanks. This is the reason I opened this thread. So many knives that I wouldn't know about unless pointed to them
 
Right now, I would probably buy the new ZT 0450CF. Basically a smaller version of the 0452CF. It's next up on my list.
 
Good idea with the Victorinox's. I give a lot already (not knives but to charities etc) so gonna be greedy with this money :)
 
Both the Lionsteel and ZT0450cf are on my BladeHQ wish list lol. They are both in consideration
 
Those mags are expensive lol. You would think a $700 gun would come with more then 1 mag :thumbdn:

if you like Lionsteel check out the DPx HEST Triple Black Folder, got mine yesterday, and I really like it
 
Yea I have seen some of the DPX offerings. They look pretty neat. I am leaning towards a 0450cf just because I don't have a ZT with cf in my collection yet. The TRE is also up there on my list. I am going to decide by days end most likely.
 
yea, I'm weird.... but lately, I've gotten a craving for a pair of antique cleavers...... with 200.00 I'd hit the Bay and get me a matched set of 7 to 9 inch cleavers in good condition just because...
 
I'd look to one of the custom maker's I've dealt with and see if/what they could cook up at that price range LOL. ;):thumbup::cool:

But that's just me... :D
 
So many options at that price....Cold Steel Trailmaster with a Southern Comfort sheath, maybe, or a Spyderco SS SE Police, or maybe a Nilakka.
