If you get stuck on an island, would you prefer to have your usual/favorite knife..?

From those that I own and use:

Leatherman Wave
Mission Knives MPK10-Ti (won't rust and can be sharpened with the Wave).

If I could had something else it would be definitely a machete! (If I could choose I'd go for an Extrema Ratio Kukri)
 
I would take an ESEE RC-5.
I know it does rust but if you use it enought it doesn't get a change to rust :P
What else are you going to do all day then playing with your knife.
 
As long as we're talking about a tropical island, I'd go with a machete for sure. Weather conditions notwithstanding, a machete would be most appropriate for tropical vegetation.

Good point about the type of island. I thought it was a little funny that everyone was assuming that it was a tropical island. If you were on an island like Catalina or San Clemente you wouldn't find much to use a machete on.
