This thought crossed my mind as well, but since my state collects tax for online sales, I've never seen it below $100 for me. Very close to it, though, and it's a great knife.

At today’s street prices I would buy a Buck fixed blade, a GEC or Case traditional slipjoint, or modern folder by Spyderco-Kershaw, etc. USA made knives. Any and all US brands if at all possible.

Better steel is kind of inarguable. The rest of the differences are maybe a matter of taste (full tang, more durable grind, more durable handle vs lighter weight, slicier grind, rubberier handle)

Either of them are probably more knife than 99% of the population needs, and I'd say the garberg at ~ $60 sale prices is the best knife of its kind in that price range.

Mostly because I have a Garberg and not a Kansbol. Haha. Never tried that one, although I am sure it would be awesome as well. Mora makes excellent knives for the money.
