Not a bad idea, although I own a lot. It's why I didn't mention a guideline because I wanted to see what people themselves have really liked.

Having said that, most my stuff leans to either huge choppers or pocket knives with few middle ground belt knives( I do own a kabar, BK9 and a Condor Hudson Bay) so maybe that's what I should get
 
Kansept mini hellx is fun, well made, cheap, and different enough to enjoy adding to a carry rotation.
 
Not sure if it has been thrown out there. Maybe a useful kitchen knife, bread knife, or steak knives, if it's an area or want/need.

If you don’t already have a good multi tool, that’s something of a necessity in my opinion also.

Almost everyone considers the garberg superior.

Better steel, full tang. Thicker blade.

But the kransbol cuts better and is lighter because there is less knife.

And most of my knife use is girly cutting rather than manly smashing things with my big steel knife.

So I still have issues with which one I like better.
 
I have been eyeing off the Demko freereighn in magnacut. Which you can't get at the moment.

But the Aus 10 would probably squeek in around a hundred bucks.

Go on eBay and get 10 Bear Grylls Scout Knives and use them as stocking stuffers at XMass.

Give it to one of those homeless guys that stand on the corner and then feel good about yourself.
