Well, this statement is simply not true.The Manix blade is far better than anything ever put on a Buck 110 or 112.
It is true that, in the $25.00 dollar range, you can only get a standard Buck 110 with 420HC blade-steel.
But you can't get a Manix for $25.00 dollars either.
So when you compare apples to apples and put the Buck 110 in the same price range as the Manix, you then must consider the Custom Shop Buck 110's and the Buck 110's offered by Cabela's and the BassPro Shop.
When do this you will discover that the Buck 110 is available in BG-42, S30V, ATS-34, and 154CMP.
AND, best of all, they are heat treated by Mr. Paul Bos, who is one of the best in the industry.
