If you had $450 (make that $600), what would you get?

Looks like the CRK’s are definitely shipping slowly but surely. Umnumzaans in stock at KSF. I’m sure they’ll go quick.

Update : looks like they’re already gone. I just got the email from KSF a few minutes ago. Wtf?
That sucks. Didn't you place your order already though?

I guess the OP just doubled his budget. You know this hobby can snowball very quickly. ;)
Haha I’d love to double my budget. But that’s not gonna happen right now. I’m psyched for the Sebenza I have en route. But I’ll still keep an eye out for any new Inkosi’s down the road.

So .... why didn’t you like it ? Just wondering ....

I’m the exact opposite, I tried sebenza several times and couldn’t warm up to it… that is until I got a micarta one, now I love it.

I had required $450-600
and I bought Umnumzaan :^)

Quite the price range. Blows my mind! Then again am more "vintage" than most here. Still prices did not triple 5 times over back in the "old days"

An Idaho Mountain Knife Works (Mike Mann) Hudson Bay knife. Or the Montana Americana Hudson Bay knife, the one with the eyes 👀.

It’s ok. But after carrying it a bit , I decided that I don’t really like the feel of the inlays. A plain or CGG model is what I’ll do next. Sometimes I’m fickle.
I'm bummed your foray into CRK didn't work out! :(

I get that. Before 2015 when I moved from the traditional world, the most I had ever spent was 100 buck on a first run still in box Schrade made Buck. The knife that would become the 301 and I felt guilty for 6 months…

are people still flipping the mass produced shamwari? id get one of those if possible but not paying flippers
