If you had a $100 what folder would u buy

For @ $100 I'd go with a new Yojimbo2 or Manix2. If I were able to scrape up another $50 then I'd pick the BM 710.

Any kind of "Folder" that Spyderco has that is a $100 ~~ you can't buy a better folder than a Spydie.!!**^^

Since I've mostly EDC'd an Opinel for the past 3 yrs with never the feeling of not having enough knife I'd go the same way all over again and put the extra $ to better use.

I'd get a Spyderco Delica 4 FFG in my favorite color, and add a deep carry titanium clip from theoriginalspaceman (Casey). And have a $20 left over for 2x good Chinese carryout lunches.

Modern folder, probably the Spyderco Manix2 lightweight S110V, Delica ZDP-189.
Traditional, well today my LionSteel Opera came, and at $79.99 (BHQ) its great. Cocobolo, D2, comes with leather lanyard and sheath. Buy yourself dinner with the extra $20.

Queen Cutlery Peanut in D2 steel.
It can do everything I need and it is cute, so no trouble with non-knife people ;)

My answer: Kershaw Zing Tanto, Cold Steel Mini Recon 1 and an ESEE Zancudo.

Politically correct answer: Kershaw Zing Tanto, Spyderco Sharpmaker and pocket the remaining $20.

There are quite a few good folders for around $100 (some cost a bit more, some cost a bit less):

-Edura 4 (or Delica 4), whichever variation floats your boat.

-Griptilian (I'm partial to the 550).

-ZT 0350.

-ZT 0200.

-S30V Blur.

-Manix 2 (again, several versions to choose from).

-Pacific Salt.

-Native.

-Stretch (the ZDP189 one goes for $125).

-Hogue EX03.

-Paramilitary 2.

-Yojimbo 2.

-Dendra Typhoon.

-Any Case with CV blades.

I'd be happy with any of the above. If I had to choose just one, it would probably be the ZT 0350 closely followed by the 0200 and some of the Spyderco offerings like the Para 2, Yojimbo 2 and Manix 2. Which I feel are better rounded knives than the ZTs, since they are lighter and easier to carry in thin pants, but I just love ZTs.

I just made that choice, I don't know about the two years, but I picked up a combative arms M1 for a little over $100 shipped. It was an awesome choice.

A Great Eastern Cutlery Diamond Radio Jack. This will do everything I need here in town, and not scare the non knife people like our friend in Hamburg posted above.

A Buck 112FG is a close second, maybe two for $100.
