If you had to choose 3 Busse's

Well, I got hit pretty hard this month with the Busse bug. I bought a FFBM, CGFBM, CG ASH1, BATAC, and a swamp rat hairy carry. I also bought a Fehrman Thru Hiker for a small knife to set up as a piggy back to a larger blade for fine camp work. Now, my question is, if you had to choose 3 Busse knives for camping and or wilderness survival which three would you choose.

When I started looking at buying a couple good solid knives I was told Busse or Fehrman. After seeing what a Busse could do online I guess you see what I chose. When I go out camping, its always for a few days atleast. I am a big guy, around 6 foot and 260 lbs. So when I strapped on the FFBM to my hip the weight isnt that bad, but it pulls my pants down a bit. Thats why I got the CG FBM.

I was thinking about putting the small Fehrman Thru Hiker on the FFBM as a piggy back, and the Hairy Carry on the CG CBM for the same. I would use the BATAC as a pack knife and strap it to my pack for quick easy work. I was curious as to what all you think and what your choices would be and why. I am not much of an axe guy and prefer to baton wood which is why I chose a large blade and not an axe.

So, come on, lets hear it, what would be your three. Pictures are welcome as always. I am selling a bunch of Browning Hi Power and 1911 leather to afford all of the Mashed Cat and Okuden sheaths. I should have all my sheaths by next week. When I move to a dry climate I want a chuddy bear sheath as well, they are just sexy.

I have wanted one of the FHS's for some time now, I have even tried to trade my FFBM for a HH FSH. It is just a damn sexy knife.

ak because its big and cool.

daba because its a great camp/utility blade.

mrsle because it was my first busse.

if i had a regular FBM again, that'd be one of my choices, but as i don't, the NMSFNO would be my chopper. SFNO would be my mid sized blade and then the BAD. i can't really see much of a point to the SFNO if i have an NMSFNO (except that i really like it). i guess if i were really concerned about weight i'd just take the regular SFNO and either the HR or skinny ASH or ASH 07 SE.

CG FBM
CG FSH
AK

Nothing against the smaller knives like the GW, AD, etc., but INFI truly shines with the bigger knives.

I'm thinking...

.22 SFNO for bigger work,
.165 ABA for pack knife (quick work)
.17 GW for fine work.

I would just ask gimmejr to come with,

Hmmm...BM-E, SH-E and NO-E come to mind first, but to be honest, I've lately only been taking my SH-E into the field with maybe a folder in my pocket 'cuz I always have one. For a smaller Busse, I love my Working Hog Cultie.

NMFSH when it comes out (I hope, I hope, I hope)
Of what I own/have owned I would have to take my NMSFNO.
CGASH1
SARSquatch

Out of the ones I currently own:

Basic 9

SAR 5 or BATACLE (Tough choice between the 2 for a mid size. The SAR might win out on the weight factor, but the BATACLE feels awesome in hand)

BAD

I have no idea, that question makes my head want to explode!
However...
1. HHFSH
2. Sarsquatch
3. FBM... I refuse to decide between my FFBM and CGFBM.:p

If I could keep only 3 of the Busse's I already own, they would be:

- MOASH

- Satin Jack LE

- Off Duty

The rest I think I could probably stand losing, if only after much therapy and crying myself to sleep at night.
