If You Had To Live With Only One Buck?

Just one ??? How could anyone be expected to have just one?

This one :D

What is it? Custom?? Selfmods??? Whatever it is i like it.

I'm voting for the 110 as well. Has served me very well in feild dressing white tail deer; makes a great edc as well. It's that 3.5"-4" range that's just about right for a larger edc blade. The thin hollow grind lends its self well to food prep aswell

Only one,--- It would have to be my Paperstone 110 with the drop point S30V blade. Its about right for most task and small for quartering and boning. DM

I have to go with what I have actually carried more than any other knife in my lifetime....the 110. I also have to say that my favorite is the old squared two dot 110's. That's probably because that was the knife I carried for about 25 years before I retired it about ten years ago and I just kind of got used to it. :)

I really enjoy the new custom 110 I ordered from Buck last year though. That s30v really holds onto an edge.

Stumps, that knife is perfect!!!!

The stag/NS combo is the best and looks great next to the satin finish of the blade.

I'll second that! Beautiful.

If I could only keep one...I'd keep looks in mind as well. I will go with the club 110 with drop point s30v and elk scales.

Tony, Yes. The one you mention is a real beauty. I got one from Flatlander with amboyna burl handles and the drop point blade of S30V steel. DM

I have many knives that I love (including the 124 and even the big 916 Wolf Bowie) but.......an all-around knife has to do a lot of things.

I'd probably go with this:

Or.....this:

Maybe even this:

Pictures of the club knife with elk and drop point?

I'm expecting to cry soon.

I don't have a good pic. Finger grooved, no nail nick by the way. Maybe Pack Rat will come along and post a certain pic that will make everyone cry.

I have watched what everyone was choosing and sat thinking........Not what is neat and cool and fancy, but I only get one, just one, forever. Sort of like some of our body parts...one forever. (Anymore I guess that is just eye's, spine and brain. I haven't heard of a AHole transplant yet either but they are likely available).

Well, I got a Selector and three blades 5 or 6 years ago that I started putting on my belt for Rocky Mountain deer and elk hunting. And around home also. But, I am not going to select that I will select my old 440C bladed, Segua (Shedua) scaled 112. It will stand the test of forever. FOR-EV-ER.. I can trim a toe nail or split the chest of a Bull moose if I have to. (See I would cheat and take a small axe cause you only said one knife). I would want a good stone for that 440C also....

Ofcourse I wanted to choose my Selector but thought someone would cry foul. Which is my Most favorite.
The 110 drop point with S30V blade and elk antler was not a 'club knife', it was a fund raiser knife and the following year the club offered the same configuration in a 112. Many of us have them. Evil Eye Earl has them both with excellant photos. DM

If there was a "grab 'n' go" blade it would be the classic 110. I have other selections but the desired response here is just one blade.

Yes, sorry to be misleading. It was not the yearly club knife, but was a fundraiser knife offered through the BCCI.

The more I see the 112 the more I think I need one. I think the are about the same size as a Case mako. I use to have a stag Case Mako but sold it. I thought it was a nice size but not real robust. The 112 on the other hand...
