If you had to pick one knife to carry forever...

My SAK spartan is going on 25 and still sees time in the rotation. :D

On second thought it would have to be a fixed blade kitchen knife of some sort. Those see the most use.

Currently, this:

However, like about %90 of the others here, I like variety in my knives. So next month/week/day/hour, it may be different.

It would be my AGR medium Barlow in yellow delrin with the Zulu spear point blade.

I would have to go with a sturdy fixed blade since I spend a lot of time in the woods.
With that in mind my Battle Horse Field crafter would be my choice. It is large and sturdy enough to take care of my needs while being small enough that I could edc it with the right sheath.

If you could only carry one knife for the rest of your days which would it be? I would pick the 940-1 currently.

+1 on this. I'm currently selling off most off my other folders do to the fact the 940-1 hasn't left my pocket since I got it a couple of months ago

Spyderco Delica 4 for me. Since the knife spends 99% of its life in my pocket, and because I carry so much other stuff on a daily basis that competes for space, I put a premium on a knife that is light weight and thin in the pocket. And I've never needed more knife than a Delica, though its fun to carry beefier knives.
