If you had to throw away all your knives but one, which one would you keep?

I'm keeping my OLFA. I just don't know whether the 50 pack of blades and one handle should count as one knife or 50.

Spyderco Stretch ZDP-189
The Way I look at it if I could only have one knife to suffice with, I'd go for something that could be worthy of EDC as well as able to handle a wide array of lighter tasks. For anything more strenuous I'd just break out a saw or Machete or Axe. Don't get me wrong I love my larger fixed blades, but it's just that those would be hard to carry on a daily basis and not as good as say an Axe or Saw on processing larger wood and materials.

Large Sebenza 21.
=]

Of course I don't have to throw them away. That would be such a waste of gorgeous sharpened steel. Someone would raid the dumpster and get them all.

Now we can't have that.

well...if it were an apocalypse scenario where SHTF and I had to leave ASAP and for some odd reason I wasn't wearing cargo pants which is the only thing I own and my pants only had one tiny pocket, it'd be the Spydie PM2.

If this were the cause of some law being passed it'd be any one of my SAK's doesn't matter which one, they all have 2 blades multiple tools and junk good for anything really.

Or or or...I would use duct tape for the second scenario. :D 50 knives? what? This is one giant knife with 50 uses. Then when the law enforcers leave well I got all my knives still and yinz only got one :p

Other than that why the hell would I get rid of all my knives? You people be crazy lol.

This is a good question, as the first knife that came to mind was the Spyderco Gayle Bradley. I just love CPM-M4 steel.

Theoretically my large Sebenza.
This question needs refinement IMHO.
Do we talk about fixed or folders, factory or custom,...... :)

multi blade - swiss champ
single blade folder - Spyderco Gayle Bradley
fixed - Spyderco Phil Wilson
multi blade only (no multi tool) - GEC large stockman type

Probably something along the lines of either my Spyderco Military or my ESEE-3 mil. Small enough to take everywhere, big enough to get something done.

Benchmade emissary. No Idea why. That knife resonates with me. I have better more expensive knives, but I can't get rid of my emissary ever.

I reject your scenario - it is INVALID!!! No knife knut would throw away any of their knives as that would cause a total freakout!

I'd be hard pressed deciding between these two.A BEAST & one sick slicer!No I couldn't choose,sorry!

Toss-up between the large & small regular Sebenza.
You can't make me choose one over the other. I will not play by your rules but if i have to i will just hide the small Sebby in my b*&%.:D
