If you want to get pissed off

Geez, that sucks. So close and they just skip across the river and...done. What I didn't catch was, were they smuggling from the US side to the Mex side or did our guys break up an attempt to get the bundles into the states and chased the BG's back to Mexico?

Either way, it was very cool footage.

Man this is a everyday thing were i live--arizona city,az.--about 75 miles from border--i see a average of 15 to 20 border patrol each day--about 10 miles east of me is the indian revervation--one of the main drug and people crossings in the state

No worry's, that big new fence will really take care of this sort of thing...right? .....well yea, not.

We have already lost the war on drugs (it could never be won - too much money involved) and we are in the process of legalizing illegal invaders and giving them full access to everything that I've worked my ass off to get. Let's find something else to waste our money on, like, uh... oh, I don't know, electric cars that cannot tow a trailer or corn based ethanol that provides less octane than gasoline while driving up the cost of food. Those seem like good opportunities for the govmint to waste money on for decades while digging deeper into our pockets to do it. :grumpy:

Dammit, Jeff, you were right... I'm pissed! :p

Does the BP patrol with boats in the water? seems like that would be mighty useful.

I really don't know what boats they may have in the water. I do know that it has gotten so dangerous down there that I wouldn't patrol any border river in a boat unless it was heavily armored and I had permission to return fire to the other country's side.

I think a few of these in the water would make the drug runner think twice about shooting at our BP agents.

Yeah, it was VERY evident from the audio that hostile fire from the BG's was a regular occurrence.:thumbdn:

I was emailing back and forth with a federal LEO buddy this morning and he summed it up pretty well. The American public/media has turned a blind eye to this stuff for 2 decades. They don't support the Border Patrol at all. I'd say that's about as factual a statement as I have seen from my times on the border. If BP does their job and it happens to "violate the civil rights" of an illegal, the media is all over it, but let drug runners shoot at BP and you never hear a word.

The reason? The media is full of liberals that don't want their supply disrupted. Goddam hippies.

Hulk Hogan called and said he'd take the job. He's going to break out the Thunder in Paradise boat and take the suckers out.

Oh hell, that's about as sick as the body builder thread.

Thunder in Paradise was such a great show. I used to watch it every day, back when it was in syndication. Soooo funny.
