If you were Obama what knife would you carry?

If I was in his position I would carry a nice custom damascus folder, but, in all honesty, I think that, like many(most?) modern Americans, he would not carry a knife and if he did, it would probably be a simple probably an SAK or cheapo chinese made knife. Lets face while us knife nuts can see the value in a high dollar custom knife the average american cant.
 
A custom danascus folder with MOP scales.

It would represent his mixed heritage and he could use it as an example to divert any questions about him carrying a blade.

Now if I were Pres, I would carry the same stuff I do now. Sometimes my BM 705, sometimes a Case slippie, and a 1911.
 
Isn't he against weapons....I don't think he would carry a knife....maybe custom scissors...lol

That was funny! Please dont make the political thread political. Im going to recommend him carry a sak. I do think its the pc knife for the pc crowd. Oh yes, please dont read between the lines attempting to find my true,very un-pc view of our not my president, next president. Does this mean were in a defacto state of civil war?

I think of knives (and guns too) as tools not weapons. However I doubt our new president sees it that way.

He will become our pres, however he also has a past track record of voteing,and statements reguarding hobbies not unlike ours. The obama i hear now, no sound like the ill, sen obama i heard earlier when he wasnt running for the white house.

I here "W" carries a limp piece of spaghetti that someone told him was a stealth knife. Those guys said it, not I.
 
Will you still be supporting him if he comes after our guns, knives, or maybe the fairness doctrine? How much support does obama deserve concidering he himself openly wouldnt support the current pres? Ah yes, but he was just being a good marxist. The standards cant possible be the same for everybody, how would democracts be able to win?

How about something like this; a gentleman's knife.
American made and classic design. Afterall POTUS won't be peeling potatoes or concerned about defending himself so he'll carry something that pleases him.

I would have several William Henry Autos and Folders to switch between. Elegant, sharp and ready for action(cutting an apple)! What did you think I was talking about, non-friendlies....
 
Am I the only one who thinks this thread should be locked up? Most people have gotten so far off topic and haven't even answered the question. The thread may have been started by Troll, but I believe it's a reasonable question as long as it's answered plainly and simply. Is it too hard to just answer?
 
It is a baited question which by nature doesnt stand a chance of being answered simply except from a minority of people. Just move it to the political forum and let everybody go at it. I dont have a reasonable expectation of not being offended in life, plus i know not everybody is going to agree with me. so if pc is the order of the day dont allow politically charged threads period,this isnt rocket science.
