If You Were Tarzan and Only Had A Loincloth and a Knife, What Knife Would It Be?

hum I guess I would go with a Colt Trailblazer axe & knife combo, 420J2 steel is a cheap steel but it would do it fine for an axe, and nothing can challenge an axe when it comes to chop down trees and through bushes :) . As a bonus, you have a potent pointy knife carried inside the axe handle, with a 6 inches blade for defence (combined defense/attack tactics with axe+knife can be devastating), food prep and light cutting chores... what better? :D
 
A folder with a clip. Gotta protect the family jewels. Maybe a Cuda Maxx w/clip point, or a Strider folder. It's a freakin' loin cloth, no kukris for me....;)

Seriously, probably a Becker bowie of some nature, but it would need a good sheath....:D
 
Shhesh! If you're gonna play Tarzan, make a new sheath from the next crocodile you kill with it! :)
 
If I am gonna be swinging through trees on a vine, the sheath is a PRE-requisite. No time kill an alligator while "going commando" with an unsheathed blade in my loincloth!:D
 
I'd go with an Airkat. That way I could use the included sharpener to keep my blade edge keen, and the compass to get the hell outta the jungle. :D
 
Does this mean I couldn't use my Edgepro or my Spyderco Triangular Sharpener? Too much to hang off the loin cloth me thinks. Maybe Cheetah could carry them for me.

I guess I'd be dead with a dull knife without them.

Sebenza. Wait, I don't own one. BM 710HS. Nope it would rust. Something in talonite, maybe... I so confused. Hey, what does the "real" Tarzan carry anyway?

My original copy of Tarzan of the Apes describe's Tarzan's knife as "a sharp hunting knife" which he learned to keep sharp by whetting on flat stones.
