Spyderco G10 Dragonfly and Leatherman Squirt is common for me. The last two weeks I've been carrying the Spyderco Gayble Bradley in the office, but I usually keep it totally pocketed since the clip/carry isn't very inconspicuous, like some of my deep-riding Spydies.

Based upon how many I own, my favorite folders are small Sebs and Mini Ritters.

But when it comes to EDCing, I look strictly at size, weight, type of clip -- and how hard I would cry if my knife were lost or stolen.

The Spydie Techno and Les George ESV are small but not thin. The little Kizer ti flipper is a recent favorite - but the clip isn't.

Here are three that I frequently carry to the office:

- Spyderco Salt I, in a friendly yellow. Hard to beat the Salt or its Delica cousins in size and weight. And the Salt is rustproof.

- Buck Small Vantage Pro. The small flipper works for those who are agile enough and there's also a hole-opener. The deep-pocket clip is as good as it gets. The Pro version comes with S30V and G10 scales.

- Sanrenmu SR 605. This inexpensive little bugger has a usable thumb stud, clip, choil, adjustable pivot and sharp blade! If I had nothing else, I could use it for 90 percent of my cutting chores.

I have my small sebenza today, already have an ivory skip joint picked out for tomorrow!

Wish my office was that way! No one is geared up here except me that I can see. What type of work you do?

I raise and deploy capital. I will only ever work with people that are staunchly for personal freedom and responsibility. Life is too short to compromise principles for a job...

Some days there may be 5-6 AR15s in the office...

In the office I mostly use a SAK. I know there are some co-workers also carrying a SAK. One always uses a Victorinox Outrider to slice his fruit.
