If you work in an office what knife/knives you carrying today?

Small Sebenza in a slip sheath my pocket and a Ladybug on my key chain.

I thought that was pretty normal / acceptable until I realized that within arms reach from my office chair was a Skeletool that lives in my briefcase, a Mini Champ attached to my access card and office keys and an Al Mar Falcon in my desk drawer in case I forget my knife at home ....... I tend to forget about all the other bits and pieces lying around as they very seldom get used.

I couldn't decide on just one so I brought both of my most recent acquisitions in with me today...

Whatcha got up on the screen there? Looks like you work in IT. I do too.....if that is in fact what you do.

The company for which I work has a limitation on knife size.
Max blade size: 2"
Max opened length: 4 1/2"

I carry these on a daily basis. The Buck gets by far the most use because the blades are optimized for the little cutting chores I most frequently do at work. I carry the Boker in case I have a heavier cutting chore. The clipped Boker is also easier to get at when I am sitting down.

I can get by with most any knife, but my main carry has been my Syrider SnG CC. On Fridays, I'll rotate my left handed small Sebenza or my ZT 0561 or ZT 0300.

Today will be my SnG CC.

Are those scales stock, I want a 0550, but the scales on the site are different from yours.

Those scales are stock. They look different because that isn't a 550........................................................................it's a 551

How you like the Boker?......been tempted to pick one up.

I'm carrying a military right now. I always bring new knives in and show my co-workers and bosses though, and I often get packages delivered here (sometimes with a dozen knives). The only thing that made me nervous was getting a Swamp Rat Rucki. I still have the box it was shipped in under my desk, and I used it for a couple mundane office tasks for comical effect.

Every single person in my office has a knife of some sort, and many of the workers that come in later in the day carry Ontario machetes and small fixed blades like Moras. I will carry a large fixed blade (6" blade) on some occasions when I am going into the field.

I use an xacto knife as much as I do my EDC though. You guys might think that I just work in a crazy office or something, but really it's a combination of location (weapon loving KY) and the fact that it's not controlled by a large corporation. Folding knives would never make others nervous around here unless you were verbally threatening them when you pulled it out. I do not envy you guys that scare off the secretary because you opened a package with a Sage 3.

Cold Steel Trail Master in a leather sheath in the crossdraw, under the belt position. People don't bother me in my cubicle and the corporate suits and my boss don't even make me go to office meetings. In fact I think I may the reason they're having the meetings because they all keep looking at me through the glass.

I'm a software engineer/entrepreneur. I prefer to say I work in R&D; if I say I work in IT people try to get me to fix their computers. Judging by the programming manuals and ide's on people's screens in some of the pics I'm guessing a bunch of people posting here work in software/IT.

Vic Huntsman always on my EDC purse

as for the knives... almost of my folders rotation get carried to the office. at this time, it is Spyderco Para2 or the Spyderco Chokwe (I am being stationed faraway from home now)
