  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

If your survival was on the line, which two???

I'd have to say my Ka-bar 8'' tanto and my leatherman blast, love the saw on that thing.

this is so cool! Id take my Marzatelli Bowie/Camp, 9 in, spear point california style,w its g 10/leather sheath. (its the only fully custom blade i own) and i just loooove it!, has holes drilled strategically for fastening to a stick. Very good knife for said scenario. Also id take my Mini Manix, bcause it is a strong flat grind, straight edge. And my leatherman. Thanks, Ron

I guess I'd take my LM Wave and my BM Ritter Grip. I don't have many knives-that will change though...

My Chris Reeve Shadow III and my Spyderco Manix. I have my father's old handmade dagger made in the Philippines but the blade is about a foot long and I would want to travel as light as possible.

I would take my Swedish Military Mora (Sportsman's Guide type) and Leatherman PST.

guess my Buck 110 and maybe the Strider. Dont have any large fixxed blades. maybe that is a problem!

7.5 CR kathathu with Spec-ops brand survival sheath. that's two mini kits along with the knife, one already includes a vic farmer and each including a spark-lite and some sort of sharpener. for a true second, either one of my vic mausers or the newer OH gak.

Let's say you are lost in the woods (please, no "I'd carry a hatchet in the woods"...strictly knives, please), the 'shlt hit the fan' (society-wise) scenario, or you just had to survive. You have no option of axes, hatchets, machetes, chainsaws, etc.; just your knives. What 2 would you grab (knives you actually own, mind you)?

No axes? That's pretty sad ...:-) I always feel kind of naked in the woods without my small Wetterling.

Anyway, I'd take my Wilkins Mini Thorn in M2, the best *small* fixed I've ever had. Small enough to handle delicate tasks but very tough, holds an edge forever and is easy to hide under clothing. My second knife would be a largish Norwegian knife with a flatground blade in a laminated carbon steel or a Fallkniven F1.

Assuming this happened after my new Fallkniven A1 arrived, that and my Leatherman (original). (I plan to upgrade the Leatherman to a Charge Ti.) If multitools aren't an option, then probably my Delica 4.

Ka-Bar D2 Extreme 7" combo with the cordura Eagle sheath with attached utility pouch. Inside the pouch would be a sharpening stone, waterproof matches, small compass, and anything else of importance I could stuff in it.

And my Leatherman Wave it that is considered a "knife".

If your question meant ONLY knives, then make it my Spyderco Manix or BM 710.

Regards

I would take my Busse Mud Razor (7" blade) and my leatherman PST2 (these two are always close by).

If no multitool, the second knife would be my BRKT Fox River. I would feel pretty happy if I could add a martindale golok to the set!!
