I really do like the SnG. I like the Sebbie better. Wish I could keep both!
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
Figured as someone who has served in the military you might want to take a look at who you are supporting when you buy these knives.

If you want a good laugh check out this thread http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...TF-!-Is-up-with-these-military-service-liars-!

This one is getting old. Yes, he likely screwed up. So did I. So did you. Get over it. Strider AND the Marine Corps collaborated to make the Strider SMF/NSN in 2003. It was the official folding knife of the SOCOM unit of the U.S. Marine Corps. Tons of Marines have carried Striders in the SandLand; many were given free by Strider. It's a damned good knife; I've had maybe twenty. Their Customer Service beats ANY company you can think of, and the warranty if for the LIFE OF THE KNIFE. How many Striders have you owned? How many has Strider rebuilt for you completely free of charge? Do you know any other company that will do that?

Obviously your opinion, but I still refuse to buy from him. And plus IMO they're fugly knives.I had to get an SnG too. Lightweight, strong, sexy, opening hole, great steel selection, and a no BS warranty.
I was happy to discover that it wasn't a sharpened pry-bar.
It may or may not be worth the price, but that is what you have to pay, so I did. I know I've made worse decisions with $400.
Mick's past... He screwed up, he apologized to those that mattered, let it go. Internet drama doesn't present the entire story anyway.
I just like knives and Mick isn't Hitler.

The owner of this very forum provided many facts backed up with evidence, no Internet drama and M.Burger apologised? When was that?
Do you wonder why there is no strider sub-forum here.
I was so-so about Strider for a long time and just recieved my first yesterday, a PT CC. I love this little thing so far. Now I have a hankering for a DGG SNG!

You're right, they are expensive and certainly not for everyone. I feel the same way about CRK and certainly Hinderer, but those are indeed super quality knives. Throw a couple small strips of micarta on a Sebenza and they run $500. Worth it?, only the guy opening his wallet makes that decision. The G10 on a Strider is not merely a slice, but a pretty big chunk of milled G10. Still a lot of Ti there also.
The point of my thread was to speak to those that already have a hankerin' to go ahead and try one. I went through this with CRK and never regretted owning them. If a knife consistently gets your curiosity then try them out. There is (usually) very little loss with these mid-techs should a person decide it's not for them.
Can you guys just let a fella enjoy showing off his knife and take the comments to an appropriate thread or perhaps start another one?(as if it hasn't been beatin to death)
FYI if you wonder why they don't have a sub forum here anymore its all in the archives below. Nothing to do with any scandal.
Congrats on the DGG brother and thank you for your service!
