I'll always run back to Spyderco

Not mine. If there was I just tighten the main pivot screw just a touch and its perfect while still not affecting opening. Only happened once in three years on my hard used one but never again.

Just noticed this 4 doesn't have the Boyd dent on the lock bar, is that customary for this sage model??

This is the only spyderco in my collection now but I don't see myself selling it. S110V with Shredded CF scales and custom TI spyder Clip/cog backspacer. Perfection

Good looking PM2.

Got a question... whats the purpose of the aftermarket backspacers?
Thanks...

Well the cog's jimping extends just a hair past the scales to give it a tiny bit more traction, still nothing compared to the rough g10 that comes stock but that was my biggest beef with the pm2. That and I think it looks nice

EDIT: Here are 2 more pics from more useful angles to show it

The intent of the Boye dent is to prevent your palm from accidentally unlocking the knife under hard use. Also, in the dark it give you a tactile locator for the lock release.

Hmm, also maybe helps you actuate the exact correct part of the lock bar every time for optimal use??

Please clarify, Boye Dent or Boyd Dent. I've seen it spelled both ways online. Thx!!

Agreed!
I would love the same treatment on my Millie :)

I love Spydercos. I used to think they were ugly, and maybe they are, but I have really grown to love them. They just work, and are so dam comfortable. I also realized that I like their simple Mid lock better than any other mechanism, and they make a bunch of models with 'em. Very exciting knife company with the constant new models, new steels, sharpening products etc.

I continue to come back to Spyderco; I had a lapse where I strayed away and was flirting with Emersons/ZTs but now that I am back to EDC'ing my Delica I question why I need anything else in a folder.

And now a HAP40 Delica is on my list!

Just got my blue tenacious in the mail. A+ for this one! Only thing that isn't flawless about it is the fact that it uses 8CR13MOV steel instead of something like S30V. Otherwise it's on par...possibly even better than my made in USA PM2 was. Very nice!

Yeah, the Tenacious is a great knife. I don't own one any more. A good friend needed a decent knife. I only had two complaints, blade steel and pocket real estate issues.

Haha I used to think Spyderco blades were ugly too. The look of the Spydie Hole has grown on me and I love the function of the Spydie Hole over thumb studs for the most part.

The Tenacious is nowhere near the PM2. Tenacious is a Chinese made knife with Chinese steel. The tenacious also is nowhere near the price of a PM2.
I realize that. I have a PM2. Blade length is about the same IIRC.
I should have clarified; how do they compare handling-wise (ergos etc) in regards to mundane day to day knife duties?

Im curious, as the T seems popular.
