I'll always run back to Spyderco

I realize that. I have a PM2. Blade length is about the same IIRC.
I should have clarified; how do they compare handling-wise (ergos etc) in regards to mundane day to day knife duties?

Im curious, as the T seems popular.

Honestly, I'm not quite sure on that aspect of it. I have only handled a Tenacious once. It was a decent knife but I tend to stay away from 8Cr13MoV steel and Chinese made knives in general.

The Tenacious blade is slightly smaller but it does have more cutting edge than the PM2 If I remember correctly.

I purchased a Spyderco Military from the old Cutlery Shoppe catalog when it first hit the market... (my first one had the 2-screw clip and the full spydie-serration)
and I have been carrying a millie since then... doesn't seem big to me... I have become so comfortable with the tip down and liner lock that all my other knives just can't push this one out of my pocket... I have given Spyderco's to friends going into the military... and even a ladybug for the wife!

Tip down carry for a right hander wouldn't be so bad if you had it in your pocket, all the way back (towards wallet), and you were to reach into your pocket with your hand going down the back of the handle spine, not the blade spine, right?

I'm at the point of owning a Manix2 in BD1 and a standard black g10 tenacious. Theres a definite quality/fit and finish difference between the two, which is reflected in the price (80 dollars vs 40 dollars respectively). But if on a $40 budget for a knife, the tenacious is tough to beat. Some kershaws and bucks fall in that range nicely too, but if you like high thumb ramps with good jimping and a hole for opening, the tenacious is the answer. And quite frankly it's blade was centered better than my griptilian when I got it.... though that was probably just luck.

I was amazed at the overall quality of the Tenacious. The ergonomics of the thing were great too. So good, matter of fact, that it is the standard I judge all other Spyderco against. If they would just make it in better steel...

That's my biggest gripe with the Tenacious and its counterparts is the 8Cr13MoV steel.

I got grease all over my chargers blue tenacious today...now that its dirty I kind of like it better! Too pretty before. They sure as hell could use a better steel though. I wonder how many S30V Tenacious' they'd sell if they did a sprint run...
