Hello.....

I cheated on my own challenge. And now I guess its null and void.
I just HAD to buy a Para-2, especially after I handled it!
Never had one before! Or even handled one.

I now know why everybody likes them so much!
Needless to say, it has replaced the Skeletool CX from my pocket, and I am unsuccessful at the 1-year thing I was attempting.

Guess I'm more of a knife-knut than I thought.
Just wanted to share. :)
Pics in the future.

Let me get this right, you had the intelligence and taste to buy and use a Spyderco PM2 and you consider yourself a failure?! I should fail like that more often. ;)

Well, you came close to a year, didn't you? Or was it a week?
Look, for a PM2, it's okay to break ALL the rules... since PM2's RULE!

Ha, use one knife for an entire YEAR?! I'd have never volunteered for that in the first place!!! LOL

Because it's a Para Military, yer excused.
rolf

yeah, how could someone so discriminating be a failure?

Maybe I did alright.

It was ABOUT a week......ish :)

Yeah...
It was my own bright idea, after being challenged by a friend who said I couldn't do it.
Believe me, he reminds me daily that I couldn't do it.
I am sick with the knife-disease. :D

Any big difference between the PM2 and PM3?
Just size I believe. Para 3 being the smaller.

The smart person knows when something is that good it warrants adjustment of previous convictions.
Well done sir.

That Skeletool CX is one cool looking rig . . . I wasn't aware of it.
That said I too am a failure ; couldn't even do one month with one knife.
and yes I have a Para 2. Who knows you could even start over with the Para 2 for a year.
Me ? . . . nah . . . I like kitchen knives and box knives and at least two or three pocket knives on me all the time. Knives I like when I am at home, knives I like in the after noon, knives I like in the morning.

As you can see I just love the variety of this hobby.

Yes if you are going to cheat , if you are going to go over the wall, if you are going to be a back door man . . . the Para 2 is a great one to do it with so to speak.

It'll be interesting to see how you like to have the clip. Tip up, down or off the knife entirely. I like no clip on this knife.

Oh . . . and which version did you get ?
I suppose I will have to wait for the photo shoot.

That didn't last long at all... Kinda bummed; I was rooting for you. But congrats on the new knife regardless
