I'm a gear junky for ...?

Another after "the perfect" of a particular item but that item changes with time; however a few things I keep returning to are audio/visual and surround sound home theatre items in the middle range end of the market.

I used to be constantly searching for the perfect breed of dog, then I got a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and while not perfect, I am totally content with him. :D

Fishing gear... Mostly Fly Fishing Gear and accessories.

I make my own rods (fly and spinning), so I'm always trying to find the perfect matching reel for my rods.

fishing gear too. surf fishing lures or `plugs' as they're called here. i have too many to admit.

- Multitools
- Packs, messenger bags, luggage, etc.
- Titanium products
- Watches (way too expensive to get into the nicer stuff)
- Survival gear

Well...

-Vintage tools (more than knives, but knives are tools so...)
-Generally old stuff(but usually not more than necessary eg. I only have one typewriter)
-I got into inks lately, not FP's yet
-Books ( I find one author, than I have to have most of his books)
-The ones that randomly seem to pop up(again usually not lookin' for multiple ones)

Right now I'm an a quest for the perfect (vintage of course) cigarette case.

I'm a gear junky by nature- but my funds are limited, so I spend almost all of my extra money on knives. Other things I "collect" are guns, guitars/ music equipment, art, and art supplies.

As a professional artist, I have a ridiculous amount of pens, paint, brushes, paper etc. I have literally thousands of various pens and brushes strewn everywhere. My wife and I have always collected art, the most valuable things we own are hanging on our walls. We have way more than we can possibly hang in our little place, so most of what we have is stacked away somewhere.

I think I'm done with guitars for a while, I have all the guitars I'll ever need and more. I've pared my collection down to just my (American) G&L S-500 custom, and my American Standard Telecaster. I have a nice Jazz Bass too- that theoretically I'd like to trade up to an American version of, but I honestly haven't been able to find anything wrong with my Mexican one.

I think I'm pretty well set on the gun front- I have almost everything I could ever need. I'd like a bolt-action rifle and an AR, but other than that, I'm good. With handguns, I'm totally set. But for some reason, I can't stop buying knives. I have way more than I could ever need in several lifetimes, but for some reason, it's never enough.

Yes, yes and yes.
Any and all old stuff I like... and it doesn't actually have to be old-- it can be made to look old, or as things were made in olden times.
Stuff like my L.L. Bean and Barbour jackets, my Filson wool vest, hat, and belt, my analog watches, any and all leather luggage, razors, pipes, etc.
