I'm bored, let's see some carry pics.

Lastly, before i go to sleep and have my 0700 final judgment final for class, i wanted to ask, is there more 'accepted' 'friendly' looking knives? I was trying to discuss it with my bro but he didn't catch my intentions. I was saying some knives carried look less menacing than other knives carried? As an example a big shiny looking knife may look more intimidating than a black stealth looking blade? For this reason, looking at all your pictures your knives look all real acceptable, nothing intimidating. Also all your sheaths are different colors not black, nevertheless nice looking knives and sheaths.
One day i'll get something nice like your guys knives. For now it's my OD Glock knife i'm getting for christmas and aK bar TDI knife with ankle carry!

From what I hear, that glock knife is a good workhorse, and congrats on the TDI

Judging from the reactions of my friends and girlfriend, how intimidating a knife is tends to be purely contextual. Some of my city friends are intimidated by any non-SAK. My girlfriend, who comes from a hunting background, doesn't see the sense in tactical or overbuilt knives when a barlow is what her father has EDC'd his entire life.

Purely in an outdoorsy environment, such as hiking or camping, soft, earth-based colors tends to be better for reactions, as does simplicity. Carrying a knife with a wood or natural-looking handle on your hip in a utility sheath comes across far better than wearing a black kraton-handled knife in a kydex setup across your chest.

no doubt in that ajpalda, i was thinking the same. Hence why i got olive drab glock knife. Where exactly do you buy your knives? And do they come with those nice carry sheaths?

The vast majority of my knives have come from here on Bladeforums.com - keep an eye open and wait for a bit and you can find just about anything come up at a very decent price between the exchange and the makers section.

My go-to sheaths are from Spec-Ops Brand, a long survival sheath (discontinued) and a short combat master. Since they use generic kydex inserts, I just put a different knife in them depending on what I want to bring along and go. Their sheaths are a bit pricey compared to other tactical nylon brands, but you get all that you pay for in quality.

What kinda belt you have there? And where'd you get that sheath?

Ah yes, hoopster. I had asked you some questions regarding your sheaths.
Nice, I didn't know you made a belt clip. Nice work!

Dude I need on of those izula sheaths. I have been flirting with buying an izula, and that sheath may be the straw that unfolds my wallet. Did you make it? I'm interested!
Yes, I've been making a few different styles for the Izula, I just think its a practical and versatile knife. I'll try to send you a PM.

anymore pics gentleman?

There has to be more people who'd like to share how they carry. I think it's a pretty good thread topic that a lot can be learned from. If I can find the time I'll try to put a couple up eventually. Things are going to be hectic the next few days though. :)

Here's one for you. This isn't actually how I carry the Izula, just a sheath that's going out to someone. It's fully adjustable in 45 degree increments from tip up to tip down carry. Also has a neck chain with it which is my preferred method to carry the Izula.

Sorry about the mess on the couch. :o I made this sheath for a brown scrapper 5, the one I actually use for mine is black.

Here is a pic of what I am carrying today... my Busse BATAC. 1st picture is the BATAC with my kydex pocket sheath. The sheath came with an IWB loop, which I took off. I then took the snap off, turned it around, and put it back on, so that the base (flat part) is on the outside. Now, that snap will hook onto the hem at the top of my pocket when I draw the knife. It actually works VERY well. Second picture is how it carries.
