I'm curious?

For the same reason that people buy costumes and props, I think. People like to dress up and do a little playing pretend when they think something is cool, especially if that thing is Star Trek, apparently. ;)

Now add that to a pre-existing passion for knives and you have a dangerous recipe.

They're one and the same these days aren't they?

No, I don't think so. Most every biker I've met are not Meth heads. Most meth addicts I've met are not bikers. To be honest, meth people I've met didn't have anything and that included motorcycles. Sounds like you are trying to lump two distinct and different groups together into one. I would think motorcyclists would find that insulting to be considered a junkie when they are not. What's your take on this ?

By bikers I'm referring to 1% motorcycle clubs. Not all, but the vast majority that I have come across have serious meth issues.

That's cool, when we speak of bikers, the image that I think of are these middle aged men and women that wear the black leather and bandana head wraps riding Hogs on poker runs or charity rides on the weekends. These people consider themselves bikers yet the 1%er's would actually distance themselves from these other riding clubs.

I don't actually know any real outlaw type bikers, most I've met of that genre were probably wanna-be's. But the bikers I do know are all really good people, normal and friendly. Quick to lend a dollar and polite enough to hold a door open for an old person. Beer drinkers but not drug addicts. They're all over the US, incredible numbers it seems.
