I personally use the simple ideology, Glock is not a knife company. They do what they do well, but they aren't a knife company.
Personally I'd drop that $30 into a knife making company over a firearm company. That's just me though.
They might be inexpensive, but they are not bad.
What's a glock knife>?
This is not possible. Everyone knows you cannot cut with a knife that costs less than $100.
I would guess, based purely on the name alone, that it is possibly a knife made by popular handgun manufacturer, Glock. Just a guess...
They don't come with a very good edge, and I've seen complaints about not being able to get 'em sharp, but I got a decent cutting edge on my beat-up one in about 20 minutes on a large whetstone that took a final polish with a few passes on ceramic rods.
Not razor sharp, but removes hair off my arm & cuts sheets of paper, and for this type of knife it's more than adequate.
The steel's hardened to 55 Rc, so it may need touching up a little more often than a KaBar depending on how you use it, but it's built to bend before it breaks, and if it does you can just bend it back again.
I was actually not expecting much before I took it up the hill & abused it, but after I got done I had a bit more respect for the thing.
Still not the most ideal blade configuration for chopping, skinning or slicing, but as a multi-purpose tool it does have value.
Tom-
You tried out the bottle opener guard yet?
