What I really wanted to discuss tonight is the utter lack of published tests from other manufacturers. We've come out and done live testing, we run our video at shows, we have made a public challenge to other manufacturers but so far no takers.

I can't believe that people advertise their knives as "combat/survival" knives and yet they will not publish test data and won't step to the plate to test their knives. We ask you to trust our knives, so we show you what they can do. Why should you trust them if we won't :D

Hey Eric,

Do you have any ideas when my HR will ship? It has been a couple weeks and I am getting edgy :) I know it says 3-6 weeks but I can't resist asking. I even have MtMike making a sheath for it already!

I wish I could answer that Eric. My only contribution to the knife world is buying them. I know a lot of people say "use a knife to slice, get the right tool for the job, blah blah blah." I sometimes use the right tool I guess, but I like to have a knife that can do damn near anything. Why? Don't know. Maybe it's the Rambo movies I saw as a kid. Maybe other manufacturers, don't want to replace knives when they break. I have broke many blades prying with them. I don't care that "you're not supposed to" It's my knife, I can use it however I want. Too bad most knife makers are glad to take your money (most times a lot of money) but don't want to replace a knife. They just want more $$$ I suppose. Just my opionion, I could be wrong.
 
alph, your not wrong, it's your opinion and you are entitled to it man....you just seem to know what YOU want and thats half the trick! Good for you!

But, it seems that a few more of us have found what we want too - Rats!

I completely agree and I think your statement brings up a good point. Whose supposed to decide if the knife should be covered by the warranty? We'll we let you decide, because you were the one using the knife. Why should the manufacturer get to decide if they replace it, it was your knife and your money it should be your decision. You trust our knives, we trust you to make the right decision.
We don't believe in this Crap...you weren't using the knife in a knifelike manner...what the heck is a knifelike manner. If you were using your knife for something then it was probably because you needed to, not because you wanted to try and break it.

It's your decision not ours
