Nice knife Eric..... ya could say I have an interest in anything named Spec ops.... since I served with both Navy, and later Army, Special Operations. Always looking to see what other peoples idea of a special operations blade should look like bud.
 
Was the mini (or should I say Ratanto? :p) going to be sold with that finish? What sort of finish is that?
 
I could really use one of those. Well, better make it two, my son is pestering me for a "REAL" knife. I think that would fit the bill.

Secondly "spec ops" is not actually the name of the knife. That's just what we call it on the forums :D:D

No it is unfinished in that pic to show the grinds better. In the pic it has the finish that Busse calls Double Cut. We will sell them with some type of finish (black or tan)
 
I don't think I'd be over stepping my bounds by saying "your very welcome" from all my brethren, both past and present! My two scents would be to stick with the name..... if it's not already cristened. Would probably up the sales! ;) As for my preferances..... the mini toots my horn more than the full size!
 
I vote for tan! What do the tan blades look like with black handles? or is that really not been done? It might look good. Try it on a couple and I'll buy them, just so you can cover the trial, not out of greed or anything.

As well you should, that's one helluva nice knife. ;) Now turn 'em loose so's we can all play with them. Otherwise your report for this quarter will read, "Does not share well with others." :D :D

The full size knife has had a name for almost 2 years now. A very cool name for a very cool operation ;):D:D
 
Cool, then keep that name for a later date then;) Just make sure the blade befits it...... seen too many pansy lookin knives that people decide to place a coveted title on! Not naming names here (cough: Buck: cough) :D
