I'm moving to Arkansas, the knifemakinest state in the Union

Mike,
Just checking that you got your KITH letter OK.
Glad the family is getting settled in.

Mike,
I work at the Historic Arkansas Museum in Little Rock and they have a nice knife gallery. Lots of neat stuff. Stop in and see it and just ask for me and I'll show you around. You actually join the AKA right there if you like. Lin lin@arkansasheritage.org

Thanks, Lin! If only I had known- I had an appointment in LR week before last, and I thought, "Man I wish I knew what sights to see while I'm here."
I won't be getting down that direction too often, but next time I am, I'll definitely take you up on it.

Mike,
Just checking that you got your KITH letter OK.
Glad the family is getting settled in.
Stacy
Thanks, Stacy! Got you an email back this afternoon (shipped the knife yesterday!). :)

Ever since I started making knives, I discovered how happy I was that I lived in Ark. Here, there is no legal limit since a couple years ago to the length of knives. Only switchblades are illegal. There are a lot of places useful to the knifemaker. There is a tandy leather store in LR, and there are knifemakers all over the place. As someone already mentioned, the big show is comin' up in Feb. It should be the place to be that weekend. There's a lot of great stuff here. -Aaron
