I'm now drooling for a bk9

The ramp I could take or leave. I would probably consider grinding it off but I already have a kydex sheath and the ramp is a retention point for that particular sheath.

The remora I can definitely leave. Way too small for my hands.

I think grinding the ramp actually did serve a purpose for me, it made it easier for me to grind the swedge out. I'll end up getting another BK9 eventually just to leave alone...maybe.

Might as well. It would be good to have one pristine example preserved for future generations so they'll know what the greatest implement ever designed looked like when it was factory fresh.

Good plan, but I'll leave that to the future Ethan Becker Heritage museum. I plan to use it, I just need to get one to leave stock.
