...with this thread, but I have to ask one thing.

I was cruising on the forum and stumbled upon Sparks post about Strider. I read it and understood that there was some kind of dispute between Spark and Strider & CO. where those, last mentioned, were rude to Spark.

I don't get it...Strider was getting free comercial on this forum, a place where all of Strider fans could get together and discuss their favorite knives:confused:
And my curiosity is driving me crazy now....

Do I dare to ask what it was all about?

We don't censor anything at Bladeforums. You can read everything that went on in the last few days before Mick Strider asked us to close the Strider Knives Forum for yourself and see if you can figure out what he was mad about. If you can figure it out you're a better man than I am, Gunga Din. You can count all the times I asked what the problem was and see for yourself what answer I got.

It was little bit tricky to find how, but than I klicked on last post and used "Previous Thread | Next Thread". So far something about editorial rights.
He didn't like not to be able to remove some posts...

Edit: Interesting....but I really miss Gary Swenson's posts. I would like to see what he wrote. On the other side, Mick was constantly complaining about not having editorials rights and how he didn't get the support he wanted...Claiming thats his mails and PM's were not answered....
Bottom line...you can not always delete that you don't like. You have to meet it with inteligent answers.
You can't debate with an idiot, he just drags you down to his level and beats the crap out of you with his expirience. :D

EDIT2: I'll continue reading some other time. It's 04:29 IN THE MORNING here in Sweden. The bed is calling me :) Damn, it's already DAYLIGHT out there :eek:

You may have your options set to show only recent threads. Go to your User Control Panel, Edit Options, scroll down, and set Default Thread Age Cut Off to Show all threads. Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes.

THAT was really helpfull.:thumbup: Now I can see all threads and choose which ones to read. This helps a lot.
 
If you really don't need to log off and get a life, you can read up on a lot of old threads.
