There are so many options, and so many opinions. So many different Victorinox knives fit all different lifestyles. But if you had to choose one (one of the listed). What would it be? ♡

Out of the ones you listed I would choose the Climber. I have to have the scissors. My favorite sak is probably still the Huntsman/Fieldmaster. I’m ok with either the corkscrew or Phillips driver.

You just gotta own a Vic recruit, but since it's not on the list I voted for the tinker.
I'd say the 84mm mini tinker, but the standard 91mm is available everywhere for $20.
I love my tinker and have it in my pocket right now.

Which one is the longest on the list? I'll pick that. :D I don't need many functions on a knife, I can see how a serrated/saw blade and a regular plain edge is useful, everything else is more of a "I have other stuff for it" situation.

The exception to the rule

I got my Swisschamp just years and years ago, but I remember it being a transformative event for me.

Is it possible it cost about the same then as it does now? My memory isn't so good about such things sometimes.

Anyway, I remember thinking I was pretty well outfitted, Swiss army knife-wise, anyway.

That's kind of how I feel about the SwissChamp too! What more does one need? ;)

These are my favorite edcs over the last 3 years. They get carried 98% of the time, more often than not the cadet gets grabbed.

The blade is so thin and the steel soft enough that it takes a only few moments to sharpen if it gets dull.
