I'm really interested in this.

This helps you not at all, but after trying many different models, my all time favorite is a Wenger Tradesman that I modified to have a nail file instead of the small clip point blade. I still carry others now and then, but I always come back to this one.

I like the shorter handle length of the Wenger 85mm models vs 91mm of Victorinox, and the Wenger SAKs can still be found fairly easily and sometimes inexpensively on the secondary market.

Oops, you did specify Victorinox. In that case, the Cadet, modified to have scissors. Not sure that's possible, but if I had to go with a Victorinox, that would be the perfect one for me. Or a Pioneer X modified to have a nail file instead of a punch. I'm still not helping, am i? (sorry) :p

It's not on your list, but my closest choice to one on it is the Spartan (identical to the Tinker, but with a corkscrew instead of the Phillips). That corkscrew comes in more handy for me in loosening overly-tight knots than the Tinker's Phillips for turning screws (the can opener/screwdriver can handle many Phillips head screws). Plus, the corkscrew holds my tiny eyeglass screwdriver (it's sold separately).

I carried an older version of the Spartan as my only knife while living overseas for nearly a decade, then a few more years afterwards. Years ago I tried a Tinker, but found I prefer the Spartan, myself (YMMV).

Another not on the list is the Executive, which I've carried for the past 20 years. Bigger than the Classic-sized models and smaller than the Recruit. Its nail file is not as aggressive as the one on the Cadet, but IMO files my fingernails more cleanly.

i also like these models besides my super tinker i carry everyday...15273031357372043714561.jpg

Classic (or Signature it has a ink pen instead of the toothpick) is a "must have" on the key ring.

Since the Huntsman was not in the list, I also went with the Climber, since I sometimes need bigger scissors than what are on the Classic.

If you don't need the scissors, the Tinker would get my vote.

What I have are the Classic, Signature, Recruit, and Huntsman.
Huntsman and Signature get the most carry time. (Oh, I put the Classic's toothpick on/in the Signature.)

Swisschamp out of your list. I carried a huntsman daily for years, now an alox pioneer for a few years. Just bought my 3rd pioneer this week!

I chose Cadet because Pioneer wasn’t an option.

99% of the time I have a Cadet or Pioneer on me. I’d say the split is about 25/75 in favor of the pioneer.

I voted for the Classic SD because it's the smallest one on the list with tweezers, and I like that it also has scissors. I don't own one, but it's something I could see myself carrying in addition to my main EDC knife.

The only SAK I own is a Spartan. I don't carry it much and really only got it because I wanted a SAK in my collection.

if you had to choose one (one of the listed). What would it be? ♡

My Mechanic and my Explorer. In one pouch. I carry them EVERY day at work.
And I do have a Swiss Champ from the 1990's. I prefer the smaller package(s) of the pair of knives

BUT
of late I have needed the CyberTool and will probably get one and add torx bits to it. And I have wanted the saw and file in one or the other of my EDC SAK even though I would almost never use them.

For now though it is these guys to the rescue.

Swisschamp.
I have two of them, one that gets carried in the backpack, and one in reserve.
My brother got one, then loaned it to someone who went...somewhere, never to be contacted again (apparently you can disappear off the grid with a Swisschamp :D).

So I gave him one, and bought another. :)

So yeah, Swisschamp.

This thread made me want another, so just bought a silver Pioneer X, because i like the scissors.

Also greatly considering a swisschamp with the leather sheath. Would make a good addition to my multi tool rotation.
