...our European brethren when they post in the exchange? I mean no disrespect. It just cracks me up. It must be so difficult to get a Busse over there. Or maybe it isn't... I don't know. They sound so funny. Its great. Like they'd give their first born if someone would just send them some Infi damn it! :D Busse... the other universal language.

I don't think it's funny. I believe it shows a broader spectrum of Busse appeal.

As for CONUS only, you can thank a particular member here for my recent implementation of that rule. Exceptions include frenchbussefan and a few others.

I'm really sorry to hear this and hope you took appropriate measures to prevent him from practicing any sort of bad business behavior in future. Other members have to know about the black sheep among us.

I will sell to a member anywhere if they are in good standing and been around awhile with good rep. I have sold in China, Germany, UK, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, Russia, Spain, Chile and a few more I can't think of right now. All with good outcome. I have had more issues in the U.S., but nothing serious. I have only been ripped off by the Saudi Scammer so far as far as deals through BF.

It does seem sad that folks have to beg to get any INFI out of the U.S.. I've had alot of it bought and then sent through me because I am not afraid to ship.

Wow. Just did my homework on the "Saudi Scammer". Apparently he resides in Riyadh. It would be easy for me to track him down. If anybody wants me to pay him a visit to make him a better man please let me know via pm or email (why didn't anybody contact me earlier ). Thanks mymindisamob for not giving up on international sales after this bad experience. We are addicted and need our regular dosis of concentrated INFI!

That's a really good thing to do on your part!

I can understand the anxiety of shipping overseas, but I suppose if the seller gets the money cleared before shipping - what's the harm right? (everyone gets what they want..)

Sorry to hear that POS got you too...you're the second one who is a regular here that I now know he scammed. :(

It's always a risk amd a bit of a leap of faith for any transaction, whether cross-town or cross the planet. Despite the risks, I've also enjoyed good transactions with fine folks from Poland, Hungary, Italy, France, Suriname, Singapore, Brazil, The UK, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Canada, Spain, Israel, Iraq (to an APO), Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Vietnam & Thailand...and a few more I may have forgotten. Like mymindisamob, I'm also unafraid to ship Intl. so long as the deal seems legit and fair. :)

A few of us still do try to help our long distance HOG brothers & sisters get their fix when we can! :)

Australia, Austria, Germany, and Slovokia and I've never had a problem. I'm paranoid in doing it (my luck something will be seized at customs even after I check the country's laws) but I've done it, and everytime my package has reached their destination. Then again, I try researching overseas buyers before I finalize (feedback, gbu, etc), but everything I've shipped as never been seized or lost. I've had pretty good luck in shipping.

I'm usually more than happy to send something overseas since there's only a handfun of interenational Busse fans that attend any of the shows.

The biggest issue I've had with international shipping has been people wanting me to lie on the customs forms. I typically just say CONUS to avoid any hassles, but for the right buyers here I'd make exceptions.

I was more referring to the broken English. Not the idea of shipping or not shipping over seas.

Yeah, it's a riot when Europeans demonstrate a grasp of foreign languages the average American can only dream of!

Even if it's not a perfectly fluent second language, getting by with it is one up on me. (or third/fourth language as is sometimes the case)

most busses are over the allowed size limit in europe wich makes them only interesting for collectors. (size limit as in you are allowed to carry versus allowed to own). and i guess the nieche of knife collecting is not that big that it makes large quantities worth odering for a reseller.

I can only speak for the Netherlands, we're allowed to carry fixed blades of any size (including machetes) if the sitation warrants it. Outdoors camping, in other words. Other than that, no amount of explaining will prevent confiscation, impounding and a fine.

Gotta agree with LVC...same here.
I only speak 2 languages fluently. English...and bad english! :o:D
Tried for years to learn French, Spanish & German when I was younger. Never got far with any of 'em and failed a lot of language classes in the process...

German, French, Arabic and some English here. You, adrock1978, cannot even claim English as you mother tongue. The USA don't have an official language and neither does the state of New Jersey :p

THIS CRACKS ME UP :D

Nah, not really funny to me. I travel all over the world with my job. I'm always grateful when someone speaks even broken English, because it's usually better than my bastardized, half-ass attempt at their language.
