Joe,

Germans are more then welcome!

It's not a question of lineage/race/religion/fillintheblank, but more of mind-set and physical size. I like the name HORDE. Are we going to have an official sharp object to designate affiliations? I nominate the Viking Dagger on Don Fogg's website!

Think we could make him the official armorer of the HORDE? THAT'S WHAT WE NEED, AN ARMORER!!!

HHARRGGHH!!!

Take care,

Don Fogg is AWESOME!! I'll put my vote in for him too.

I'd also like to nominate Jerry Hossom, who just made this INCREDIBLE peice of steel for me. It's a little knife, only 19 inches OAL with a 12.5 inch blade. He may not be Don Fogg, but he makes quick knives for us big guys. (And, when I asked, he doesn't have any stipulations on blade length either, they just have to be smaller than 32" OAL.)

Wow! This topic is getting LOOOOOOONG. I think I'll start another thread over in the Community Forum. Please come and sound off. Let's figure out who's going to the blade show, who our armorers will be, and how we can find each other in a crowd (besides the obvious, I mean

Thanks Waxy, but I have to go with The Pillager and vote for Don Fogg. Not only is the Viking Dagger terrific, but his swords are to die for (both literally and spiritually). Another knife artisan worthy of the Horde's consideration is Virgil England. He makes some of the most fantastic edged creations ever, and he knows a lot about the technology of fighting weapons as well.
