Why? Because I have become friends with so many of you all here. Everyone has been so supportive during all that I've been through.
There are four members in particular that have stood out but in no way diminish many of the other friendships I've formed here. I received a package just a little bit ago from the four members that I consider brothers to me. When I mention their names, you just know that a package from these brothers is going to be epic. ;)
Paul, Ron, Duncan, and Evan Nicholaides all conspired to send me a special gift. And I do mean special! Amazing in fact. Lately some of Evans amazing talent has been popping up in the form of checkered handled Barlows. Each of them are mesmerizing!  I now join the small group of people lucky enough to have one of their own versions. I couldn't believe my eyes when I popped open the tube! A checkered Ivory TC Barlow?????? Yessir, you read that right. :D
Evan, I've always been a big fan of your work and you've out done yourself here.
Ron, Paul, and Duncan, you fellas have also out done yourselves.
I'm not gonna lie, you all drew a tear from me due to your kindness and overwhelming friendship. I was surrounded by my wife, daughter and grandson when I opened the package. I know my grandson kind of "gets it", but my daughter and wife needed it explained to them what this means to me. :o
Many will not fully understand the full meaning of this, but just treasure what a beautiful place this Porch is. There are many amazing people here and there will always be more friends that we just haven't met or crossed paths with yet. With all that I have been through, one of the things that give me strength to keep up the fight are my family and friends here. You just make the fight a lot easier.
A huge, huge thank you to Paul, Duncan, Ron, and Evan. You guys are really special to me. I am truly blessed and the luckiest man on the Porch! :D

Absolutely beautiful Bob but as great as that knife is it can't compare with the friendship you have with these fine gentlemen.

Epic! May all the strength these fine individuals offer you be multiplied to infinity! Your in my prayers too!

Bob, I fully agree with Paul's comment above. It is us who are lucky to call you our friend! You are a gem, no, a diamond! (cheesy I know, but I couldn't resist)

I am honored that I got to be a part of this project, and that the knife was for you, my friend.

Bob, that knife is outstanding! What a wonderful gift from a great bunch of guys!

Wow, Bob! It's beautiful and it could not have gone to a better guy. You are more of an inspiration than you know.

To Paul, Ron, Duncan, and Evan, well done gentlemen. Well done!

Bob, that's beautiful man.. I'm glad they brightened your day.

Very generous fellows.

Bob - That is truly a special TC for a truly special friend! I am honored to be among this fine group of gentlemen that made this beauty a reality! Evans workmanship is just stunning. The hand cut checkered Ivory is without rival! As to Paul and Duncan there is none finer among our ranks.
