youre 100% right on that. my 2nd and non 2nd are as ya described exactly. good job on noticing that. I doubt id ever have seen that or paid attention to it.

The pommel on my 3v 2nd is flush and my magnacut drop point and 2 basic Armiger's are extended. I do prefer the extended pommel but not a big deal. I really like the 3v 2nd clip point. It looks perfect to me, especially as a user.

What really got me was how the action feels about the same but the sound is very different. Milled scales on SaT I bet. Huge fan for sure.

nice. this is one of my favorite blade shapes, Demko does. super rare though. think it was one run...unless im mistaken? I got the no hole thumb stud only version. love mine.

KJ lists 33 different variants of the Bowie blade (different scale colors & materials, different opening options), so I think it was small batches of each. Still not super common.
