Impatient Knifeworks customer order issue?

I ordered a knife from Knifeworks on 6/16 and as of today 6/20 it still has not shipped. All of my other Knifeworks order have shipped in 24hr and been to me in 2-3 days. Anyone else experienced this? Order status says "In-Progress"
 
Two days were the weekend and they are likely just opening for business this morning.

Their website says 99% of orders ship same day, if not they will ship out within 24 to 72 hours. I doubt they ship on the weekend

Just got an email response. They didn't have the item on hand and had to order it, and it will ship today.
 
At least edit the title so as to not blemish the good reputation that Knifeworks deserves.

Seriously. These kids today...

On an unrelated note, I bet the order was for an inexpensive fantasy knife, mini grappling hook or some such item.

Maybe change the title, as suggested above....the only "issue" I can see is that you started a thread that really doesn't need to be here, especially the way the title is worded.

Maybe next time try some good ole fashioned Communication with KW before thinking the worst case scenario because something you ordered is a day later then when you think it should arrive.

Now I need to go show this to my 9 year old because I need to make sure the next Gen. is a little different........
 
The following was instant gratification when I was young :

Since I'm an older person, I remember having to order something via mail (yep, I was ordering things before they had call stations) and waiting for the letter to arrive to them and then them to ship the product to me, sometimes it was six weeks before getting it. Then later on someone decided you could call them and they would send it out and get paid COD, talk about speed, I could then get something within three weeks !!!! BTW, when I was in school, we had to learn how to write a letter to order something, sure that hasn't happened in a long time. Oh, we didn't have time to sit around and wait, because chores and work kept us busy, different times for sure.
 
Glad to see there isn't much sympathy here for the OP. Knifeworks is my go-to spot to buy knives, and for good reason. They are a class act and go above and beyond.
 
Being impatient and less tolerant myself- Posts like this server a valuable purpose. Thanks for speaking up. :D
 
I have ordered multiple knives from them. They always delivered swiftly, with no issues. Thanks Knifeworks. I will continue to be a customer there.
 
The thing is, satire is supposed to be funny.

If the OP wasn't being satirical, he shouldn't be buying things with sharp edges. They're far too dangerous for children to play with.
 
Knife works has been my go to knife spot for years and will continue to be my #1 .

I've never had an issue with knife works except when I entered the security code on my card wrong . I got a email right then and there and I called them on the phone and talked to a very nice lady . When I did talk to her she said if you don't get a response to an email to give them a call.

I will say this if your order status is in progress , may be best to not post a negative thread , based on what you have your location as or what your username is orders could get dragged out .:D not that anybody would do that but complaining before giving someone a chance to do their job or calling them before you take to the Internet is bad form.

Feel free to post in my positive knife works thread when your gear arrives .
