I picked up my first high end knives from Roger a decade ago. Will use them and BHQ religously. I'm sure that surprises no one.
Roger (Knifeworks) has been on BF since dirt and has always been an honest gentleman. Old timers may remember his "haggling Thursday's" when you could make him an offer on a knife through email.
Back in the old days (not necessarily good old days) after you saw an ad in a magazine, you ordered a catalog by mail, then you placed your order by mail, then you waited to get your knife. In general that instant gratification took six weeks.
