Imperial frontier

SAK Guy, Did you notice the blade number? The two I have have stainless blades from the wood not the high carbon from the white Delrin. Really like that knife. Here is a picture of one of mine with a white one.

I did notice the number was for the wood one and mine is stainless as well. I've looked for one of these ever since I saw yours over in the Schrade Collectors Forum. Mine's used but these are so scarce I was very glad to get it. Are there any made with the carbon blades? A lot of the Schrade Scrimshaw 505's in the '79-'85 range were carbon. Not the same of course but the same style.

Wow, thawk, you found another I don't have. Don't even think I have seen one on the bay. And never bought one that clean.

And I have 125 Frontiers. There was a single blade and double blade version. I don't have either.

Well, thawk, I finally got a 4621 but it needs a bit of TLC. I rarely find Frontiers in good shape.

Cool thing about your Frontier 4621 Ed, is that you can clean it up and use it without changing it's NIB status - nice find! I think most Frontier's, like Old Timers, were originally bought to be used, not collected. OH

I also believe the Frontiers were users. I only lack a few knives to have all the folding Frontiers. The fixed blades are not easy to own. I only have two.

My dad just gave me this 4714 he dug out of his old tool chest. Been cleaning it up a little. Not sure what year this is from. Still works great.
