Off topic but is that one of those real deal Brazilian Hats below the knives chief ? Mrs. Brown got me one for my birthday & it sure is cool.

The Basic 6 will have the exact same handle that it was going to have, it will just have a thinner slot in it where the tang will slide in. . . these are being made specifically for the Basic 6 to ensure a tight, waterproof seal around the tang.

The basic 6 handle (Bottom of pic) has the LARGE handle like the Dog Father. The 511 (Top of pic) has the much smaller handle.

Here's an exact comparison between the 2 handles.
