i personaly have not used paypal but some people dont like paypal because they will freeze your account or some random non sense. visit http://www.paypalsucks.com/ for rants about paypal

I have been using Paypal for about one year to make overseas payments and I have had no problems at all. I became a big fan of the 1960's TV series "The Prisoner," with Patrick McGoohan. I joined The Prisoner Appreciation Society, based in the U.K.

Unless you want to deal with money orders, postal transmittal times of a month or so, and monetary conversion rates, the best way to go is via Paypal. It was a bit laborious during the initial set up, but using it is a breeze.

Paypal did have problems earlier its evolution, but they seem to have been ironed out. Paypal is a deposit box for money. That's it. They are only a way station.

Paypal sno ironclad guarantees the money will arrive in recipients' hands, or that the recipient who picks up the money is the genuine recipient, but they do seem to make an honest effort.

Then again, when you buy something over the phone using your credit card, you have no guarantees the person to whom you are speaking is an employee of the company from which you are buying the product. You have no guarantees the person won't take your credit card number and buy stuff with it.

This economy of ours requires an awful lot of trust, when you stop to think about it.
