In Colorado and want to carry a Buck 110.

The Spyderco Stretch is 3.4" blade, might be worth a look at their factory store. I believe the Lynch deep carry clip fits these models.
Nice! ^_^ It gives me a reason to go back. ♡ When I was there I was kind of just stunned at all the beauty around me ;]

Hey Sparkly Galaxy I have a Buck 110 that should be legal in Denver, I carried it over 20 years and from being sharpened many times it is less than 3 1/2 inches long. I used it as an EDC and also to skin and process hundreds of deer but still works well and is sharp but not very pretty. If you would like it I will send it to you at no cost. I have not carried it in almost 20 years and I have no children to pass it on to so if your want it send me your address. My Email is davidhorning57 at gmail dot com.

PS: I am SO sorry I did not see this until just a bit ago! :/ The cool thing about Blade Forums is that it is just crazy how many people actually respond to you! ^_^ The not so cool thing is trying to keep up and failing. <3 I wanted to tell you that your 110 is basically my dream knife. I feel like with the 112, yes I will have the correct blade length for Denver, but I will lose everything I love about the 110: The weight; I love how heavy it is, almost 8 oz! ;D, the feel of it in your hand because of its size and weight... It's basically the damn law about the blade that has me stuck. I also feel like there is something so magical about a knife with a history, and a story. I really feel like a knife being handed down to someone is one of the highest forms of flattery, and I will take pristine care of your 110 Hunter, and I will create stories of my own with it!! ^_^ I emailed you my real name and mailing address, but I would love to hear a little bit more about the EDC you carried around for 20 years!! :] If you feel like sharing of course. <3

Thank you so much for this incredible gift; for offering me my dream knife! ^_^

Sincerely,

~ Sparkly

I have lived in Castle Rock, south of Denver, for 20 years. My experience is that law enforcement doesn't become curious about what you're carrying, open or concealed, unless you're acting like an idiot, or the officer is a knife guy.

I lived in Littleton, then Lone Tree for many years not far from you, and I carried larger knives, but I was always going to, or coming from hunting, or fishing.

Sparkly my wife (who is my best friend) and I loved to bow & gun hunt for deer, and fish for the 20 years I carried this knife. I also owned a print shop in a small town in rural Southern Illinois so the knife went with me on every hunting, fishing trip and daily to work. It has been used a lot and never let me down. It is not a pretty knife but it knows how to get the job done. I hope you enjoy it and get to let it work some more. I will put it in the mail tomorrow.

I liked also liked the weight on my belt with my Schrade 250T (two bladed 110 sized). I have a couple 110's now and a couple years ago purchased a new USA made 250T to replace my old one that was used a lot. It saw a lot of abuse as a work knife.

My life is more urban these days and I don't want to wear a knife pouch on my belt as a regular thing. The 250T has gotten a bit heavy to me when comparing it to modern knives and how they function relative to my needs. My 110's have seen no cutting and sometimes I wonder why I own them. Have a Damascus 110 with stag scales that I bought years ago at a gun show and about the time I was first buying fixed blades. It was fairly expensive at the time when you consider you can buy a 110 nearly 30 years later for $30-$35.

I can see a reason to love the 110. It's been my dad's work knife choice for over 40 years. He's had 4 or 5 of them, most of them given to him by me upon looking at the sad state of affairs his daily carry is in. He always thanks me then says that he'll save it for his "going out" knife. The 20 year old beater on his belt just keeps plugging along.

I have 2 110s and a 112. I probably prefer the 112 over the 110 for my needs. I do think the 110 feels a bit more balanced in hand. The blade of the 112 doesn't perfectly scale with all that brass and wood. However, the 110/112 are classics. Tough as nails and ruggedly handsome.

When I had a 110 that developed blade play I ditched it and didn’t like it that much, and then when I bought a couple more 110s they ended up being really sturdy with no blade play at all, I came to the conclusion that when you have a better built 110 that develops no blade play it’s one of the best knives out there for what it is, pertaining to the price point and materials IMO.......The 110 is one of my favorite knives of all time.

I do like the 110. A lot. Wouldn't it be great if some other US knife company had recently released a modern clip-point folder that carried on the venerable tradition of the 110, using modern materials but keeping that classic flavour? And if they made it a bit bigger? Wouldn't that be great? Mwahahahahahaha... :D

Wow, dude. Pilsner. That is a beautiful, very 110-esque knife. Love it - can you tell me more about it?

After all this mischegass with Colorado and 110s, I decided to carry my old two-dot •110• in a horizontal slip sheath. It was my first, belonged to my brother, bought by him new in the late '70s.

I have the relatively new 110 LT, which I like very much, and now I want to pick up an aluminum 110 from Copper and Clad. All the strength of the traditional brass at half the weight! But do I go with a drop point S30V in red scales or good old clip point 440HC in ebony? It's only money, after all!
