It has snowed like... twice in living memory in santa maria. And for a solid 30 seconds at that. Good old central coast california.

Ain't that the truth. This has been one of the lowest snow years in a LONG time and it sucks!!! Give us some snow:(...
 
Here in DC ... maybe 6" in most places.

But it came at the wrong time and in the wrong way, with ice.

Thus -- I had a 10 hr commute yesterday, arriving home today. Still beat. I hear some folks took as much as 13 hrs.

And about 350,000 houses without power, still.:mad:

It could snow like that here and I'd love it...but then I don't have a job and don't have to go out in it :)

Got about 8" last night starting to get sick of digging out!!! I know if I buy a snow blower we won't have snow like this for another 5 years lol!!!

Well, the plows have just finished up, and so now I can get crackin'... Gotta remember to put on those layers and bundle up or I'll be cold & wet...

Honestly they just let it sit until it melts - the city hasnt seen this much continuous snow ever really. Sometimes they will put the snow in trucks and dump it in the East River.

The weather is getting pretty crazy - we've had more snow days in the past 3 years than all the years before combined.

The good thing is that street cleaning has been suspended for close to a month now because of all the snowfall so we havent had to deal with the hassle of moving the car twice a week :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

That is such a nice offer! Such a giver :) But wouldn't the guns and knives only pose as a distraction from getting all of the shoveling done?;)
