Wow thats a lot of pics and a really fun time. I will be heading to Mammoth Cave Park early May. Just a little hiking. Lots of snakes and spider. BTW did you kayak with 2 dogs?

I love that part of KY, I am impressed the dogs stayed in the kayak like they did. Looks like you had a great time there. I really appreciate all the pics you took, those hills look just like the ones my family and I run around on.

I live about 35 miles from the park. The rott went only when I went backpacking, he is way to big for my kayak.

The big dog and I hiked and camped for about 10 years, before I started kayaking the Green river that flows thru the park.

It is a blast everytime I spend time in the park. No, the fish was better than it looked. I love fresh cat fish.

Bass are legal in Kentucky all year round. You dont need a fishing license to fish the waters of Mammoth cave National park. But there is a size limit and the number of bass that you can keep.

Great pics. Those would be some healthy snakes. We don't see those as often in the northern parts of the state.

There's a reason Daniel Boone loved it. Great pics! Is there a place you recommend putting in and taking out for a 16' canoe? I've been wanting to do a canoe/camp through that area for years now.
