In your opinion, who competes with ZT?

Sebenza are in there own league they don't make anything in the 200 range or 300 . Spyderco nervana goes for $440 the spyderco Slyss $300 the ZT 0850 $320 .

I have own lots of Spydercos I mean a lot . If you want a great knife in the $40 to $150 range there is no doubt they are the best but when you cross the $200 ZT takes them out .

The 0850 is more comparable to a spyderco Nirvana price wise, that aside however? It is not a matter of personal opinion. You preferring to have the 0850 over a spyderco knife is a personal opinion. The argument is on fit and finish, not personal tastes in knives. If you haven't owned or handled a high end spyderco, then it is unfair to say a high end ZT is nicer. I've handled an array of ZTs and spydercos, and at their price points, each put out excellent and very similar fit and finish (in my experience).

Now to say that no american company can be compared to ZT is just silly. Sebenzas, Spydercos, or a fair few of the midtech level companies all put out extraordinary fit and finish.

ZT has never done it for me. Im not even really sure how to covey why but they dont have the
personality or soul I guess you could say. Most of the new Chinese flippers dont really do it for
me either but this one has definitely caught my attention. The WE 604 looks very intriguing with
incredible milled handles. Might have to try one out.

I have a bunch of Taichung Spydies and 3 amazing ZTs.
My 450, 452CF & 562CF came out of their boxes perfect. Got them bout 18 months ago. All 3 are still centered with no play. They flip amazingly well. The blade grinds and steels have been great.....but my Taichung Spydies have better F&F. Not by much, but definitely better.
Got a Lil Sub Hilt bout a month ago. Also picked up an Advocate bout the same time. These 2 knives are as close to perfect as they can be. Literally amazing builds on both.
I really like both companies and will own many more of both.
Also, we aren't comparing particular models. We're comparing the build qualities that compare to ZT.

You will not be sorry if you pick up a WE knife!
I have 2 and both made my jaw drop!
