• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Ricardo Velarde semi-integral 5 1/2" BG42 deeply hollow ground blade stainless chute, amber stag scales.

Not crazy about the logo placement(prefer more towards the ricasso), and wish the lugs were a little skinnier and maybe 3/32" longer each side, but it will be the centerpiece of my chute knife collection, regardless.

What do you think?

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

I agree with you about the logo placement but damn those scales are nice. (well the one we can see)

Ahh Senpai very knice. I agree with logo placement, is it possible to have it moved?

It is a deeply electro etched....and therefore not easily removed.

My experience in knives is that sometimes you just have to see the way certain elements are and accept them or reject them. I accept this knife the way it is...it is very seldom that I am completely satisfied with every element of a knife.

Very nice little knife, STeven! As our British brethren are fond of saying, you must be chuffed.

A 5 1/2" blade on a chute puts it in the "medium" sized category, and I am pretty stoked!

LOL...I was talking with Mr. Long today about the specs for sheaths for a couple of bowies and we were both slightly amused that we were calling the one with a 10 inch blade the "small" knife. The larger one has a 13 inch blade, so it is all relative.:D I really like the way the grinds look on that knife, especially the top clip.

Very nice STeven

I agree with you about the logo placement but it is far from an issue and would not bother me

Fantastic stag very handsome

Shame it is stainlless:D

Thanks Joe!

I understand about the stainless, I am sure that a rust magnet W2 integral would make you much happier, so I am commissioning Jason Knight to make you one.

After he stabs you with it(due to the frustration of having to make a forged Loveless-style integral with HOLLOW GRINDS), and your blood rusts it out, let me know what you think.:D

Very nice, congrats!

I like the shorter blade on the chutes myself, but this is a lovely piece.

Being a fan of both chutes and Ricardo, this really appeals to me. Congratulations!
